Nestled in the heart of Abisko National Park, STF Abisko Turiststation offers comfort, flexibility, and direct access to the surrounding wilderness.

Choose between hotel rooms with scenic views, the sociable Keron hostel, or spacious cabins, all with access to sauna, laundry facilities, and the natural beauty just outside your door.

The main building

Stay in single or double rooms with views of Lake Torneträsk, Mount Nuolja or Abisko National Park. All rooms have private shower and toilet, and breakfast is included. The main building also houses our reception, Restaurant Kungsleden, a sauna, and the Fjällboden shop which also offers equipment rental.

The Keron hostel

The Keron hostel is located in a separate building about 100 metres from the main building. At Keron, you sleep in bunk beds in our spacious dormitory rooms with either four or six beds. You can rent an entire room or just a bed in a shared dorm. The building includes a large communal kitchen, sauna, and drying room. Pets are allowed in some of the ground floor rooms. Check-in is at the reception in the main building.

The cabins

You can also stay in our spacious, rustic cabin apartments. Each cabin accommodates six people. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, and on the ground floor there’s a living room with sofa, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and bathroom with shower and toilet. Pets are allowed in some of the cabins. Check-in is at the reception in the main building.

Tent area

Adjacent to the Turiststation, you will find one of only three designated camping areas within Abisko National Park. The campsite has a service building with toilets, showers and a dishwashing area (no kitchen facilities). During winter, the service building is closed and campers are referred to Vandrarhem Keron, approximately 400 metres from the campsite, for access to showers and toilets. The campsite also features a designated fire pit and woodshed provided by the County Administrative Board.

The service fee is paid at the reception in the main building. Read more about service fees here. Camping pitches cannot be booked in advance. Upon check-in, guests receive a marker tag that must be attached to the tent throughout their stay.
