STF Abisko Turiststation has welcomed guests from all over the world for more than 100 years, and, over the years, has become a meeting place for people with common interests. Here you will find everything you need to spend some wonderful days in the Swedish mountains – our beautiful countryside with magical light phenomena and rich wildlife!

To make the most out of your experience you need to live well. Either if you choose to stay in the main building, youth hostel Keron or in one of our duplex cabins, we provide you with lodging with comfortable beds. In our main building all rooms have private shower / toilet and breakfast included in the room rate. Rooms in youth hostel Keron have a wash basin in the room, shared shower / toilet in the hall and access to a large common kitchen. All duplex cabins have private shower / toilet and kitchen. All rooms / cabins can reserve time slots for sauna and washing machine (surcharge for washing machine). Many of the rooms have great views. Magnificent scenery is just a couple of steps away from all of them.

Hotel

Hotel accommodation is in the main building. Here you stay in single or double rooms, with a view of Lake Torneträsk, Mount Nuolja or Abisko National Park. All rooms have a shower and toilet. We also have some rooms that are accessibility adapted. All rooms are non-smoking.

In the main building you will also find the reception, restaurant Kungsleden, a sauna and our shop Fjällboden, where you can rent equipment and buy food, clothes, and souvenirs.

Youth hostel Keron

Sleeping accommodation in the youth hostel Keron is in bunk beds in spacious 4 to 6-bedded rooms, or in a multi-bedded room. Showers and toilets are in the corridors but there is a sink in every room. Keron also has a sauna, a shared kitchen, and drying rooms. Pets are allowed in some rooms, but please ask before booking. All rooms are non-smoking.

Cabins

Our large and rustic cabins are 60 square meters and are equipped with 6 beds. Each has two upstairs bedrooms and a living room with a sofa, a fully equipped kitchen complete with dining area and a shower and toilet on the ground floor. All cabins are non-smoking, but pets are allowed in some of them. Please ask before booking.

Camp site for tents

On the premises of STF Abisko Turiststation is one out of three allowed tent sites in Abisko National Park situated. At the tent site there is a service building with showers, toilets and a washing up room (no kitchen). The service building is closed during winter and tent guests are referred to showers and toilets in Youth hostel Keron, approx.. 400 meters from the tent site. At the tent site there is a fire place, arranged by The county administrative board, and a shed with fire wood. Checked in guests receive a tag which is to be attached to the tent during the stay. If you want to eat dinner you preferably pre-book this to ensure availability. This can be done earliest 7 days before your stay by e-mail to bokningen@stfturist.se. Please state name, date, number of guests and any special diet.
