Lannavaara has a special connection to jewellery and gemstone craftsmanship. There is a crystal museum and a renowned school for jewellery design and gem cutting. Courses and workshops for visitors are also available – a creative addition to your nature experience.

For anglers, the Lainio River offers excellent conditions, especially for fly fishing during salmon season. A fishing permit is required, and staff are happy to provide tips on the best times and spots.
