The Wärdshus dining room

The Wärdshus dining room and outdoor terrace are located in the classic Art Nouveau villa dating back to 1906. The restaurant is renowned for its broad à la carte menu, featuring Swedish classics and seafood with French and Asian influences. At Grinda Wärdshus, traditional recipes are prepared using locally sourced ingredients, with a strong focus on seasonal produce, seafood, shellfish, and game. Throughout the year, guest chefs from the mainland are invited to create special dining experiences, and during Easter, Walpurgis Night, Midsummer, the harvest season, and Oktoberfest, the menus are carefully crafted to celebrate each occasion.

During autumn, Grinda Wärdshus invites guests to enjoy a series of atmospheric culinary experiences. Instead of the traditional à la carte menu served during spring and summer, the restaurant offers themed dining weekends and special guest chef events, including seafood evenings, game weekends, fire-cooking weekends, autumn holiday menus, and traditional Swedish Christmas buffets (julbord). On these occasions, carefully curated set menus are served, each designed to reflect the theme of the weekend and create a memorable, well-rounded dining experience. The bistro and harbour restaurant are beautifully located right by the waterfront and guest harbour. Don’t miss the signature Skagen pizza, a local favourite! You’ll also find a well-stocked bar serving refreshing drinks, and during the summer, live entertainment adds to the lively atmosphere. 

Sea Lodge Outdoor dining

A secluded oasis on the island’s south-eastern shore. Enjoy delicious food in a beautiful outdoor setting, complete with a bar and barbecue. The restaurant is especially known for its spareribs, while also serving light lunches and takeaway meals.
