The accommodation’s home page: STF Grövelsjön Mountain station

At STF Grövelsjön Mountain Station we have a well-stocked sports and grocery shop. Here you can supplement your equipment and buy the provisions you need for your trip into the mountains.

We have a wide range of outdoor equipment, clothes, groceries, personal hygiene products and souvenirs. You will also find essential mountain maps, clothes and medical products. In the grocery section, you’ll find dairy products, frozen food, dry goods, bread, freeze-dried food and a small selection of fruit and vegetables.

Rental

At our rental centre, you can hire outdoor equipment or pick up any additional items you may need. Equipment available includes hiking boots (from size 36), rain gear, trekking poles, tents and overnight equipment, camping stoves, and thermos flasks. We also rent out women’s bicycles (3-speed) with helmets.

During winter, we offer Nordic ski touring and Alpine Ski Touring equipment, including skis, poles, and boots (please note that boot sizes are limited), as well as gaiters, sleds for gear transport, and children’s sleds.

Ski service

We help you with waxing for good grip and glide as well as mounting bindings and simple repairs. Contact the staff at the rental shop for assistance.

Send parcels

It is possible to send parcels to us. Please address the package to:

Important: Do not include a personal name in the address. If a personal name is included, the parcel may be delivered to the supermarket in Idre instead, where only the named recipient can collect it.

Attach an envelope to the parcel marked: To the Staff

The envelope should contain the following information:

Name of the person collecting the parcel
Expected collection date
Contact details for the sender/recipient, including an email address

Please also indicate if the parcel contains anything sensitive to heat or cold, such as gas, fuel, or liquids that may freeze.

We charge a handling fee of SEK 80 per parcel, payable when the parcel is collected. If you require the parcel to be forwarded or returned, you must arrange and pay for the shipping through PostNord. The shipping label should be emailed to grovelsjon@stfturist.se.

Collection of parcels (including forwarding or returns) is only possible during the regular season. Outside these periods, we cannot guarantee that staff will be available to assist.
