Holding your conference here allows you to bond over shared new experiences and impressions. Combine time in the conference room with mountain adventures. Gather around a crackling fire or relax in a warm sauna, and enjoy the magical play of light, both in summer and winter.

STF Kebnekaise Mountain Station has a long-standing history. For over a century, it has served as a safe haven in the wilderness, providing shelter and rest for weary hikers. People have come here seeking adventure and excitement, as well as peace and quiet.

Gone are the days of hiking poles, outdoor toilets, and simple meals. Today, we offer modern safety equipment, fresh facilities, and delicious meals from Elsa’s Kitchen, where history is still palpable despite the contemporary furnishings. Choose to stay in early 20th-century dormitories steeped in history or in newly renovated double or quadruple rooms. Cook meals together over an open fire or enjoy carefully prepared dishes in the restaurant. Whether you hike or cross-country ski to the station, the choice is yours, and we tailor your stay to your preferences.

Accommodation

Stay together in the charming early 20th-century dormitories or opt for the comfort of twin rooms. For over a hundred years, Kebnekaise Mountain Station has offered shelter for adventurers and bon vivants alike. The main building features shared rooms, while our annexes—Liddo, Tuolpa, and Gorni—offer double or quadruple rooms.

If you prefer, you can have a private room to yourself. Showers and toilets are available in all buildings except the main one, where you’ll find showers, saunas, and a relaxation area in the service building—both with stunning views. Regardless of where you stay, you’ll always have access to the sauna and relaxation facilities.

Conference Rooms

Conference Room Norr
Located in the service building, this room’s proximity to the sauna makes it ideal as a relaxation area. It features a fireplace and a glass wall with views of the western mountains. It accommodates 12 people in a U-shaped arrangement or about 30 in a theater-style setup. The room is equipped with a flip chart, projector with screen, whiteboard, and speakers.

Gammelstugan (The Old Cottage)
This original part of the station exudes charm with deep window niches and an original fireplace. It can also be rented as a private dining area. It seats 10 people for a conference around a large table or up to 16 for dinner. For conferences, it comes equipped with a flip chart and projector with a screen. Conference rooms for larger groups can be arranged upon request.

Schools

School Camps or Class Trips – Extraordinary Adventures Await
Every year, we welcome many school groups, which we greatly enjoy. Children and youth are delightful, and it’s important for them to experience their country and connect with nature. That’s why we offer special prices for school groups during certain times of the year. Schools in the nearby area are encouraged to contact our switchboard and booking service for pricing.

We offer various types of accommodation, from twin rooms to shared rooms with up to 10 beds. Special school rates apply during the winter season and the start and end of the summer season. Please contact booking for specific dates. We prefer bookings to be made and paid for in advance.

Good to Know

• Fires: Fires are welcome but must be made at least 150 meters from buildings. Firefighting services are not easily accessible here!
• Camping: Guests can camp near the station and access kitchen, shower, sauna, and toilet facilities by purchasing a service card. Like fires, tents must be set up at least 150 meters from buildings.
• Cleaning: Guests staying at the station can arrange cleaning services for a fee. Cleaning supplies are available near all rooms. Please leave your space as you’d like to find it!
• Cooking: A large self-catering kitchen is located in the service building. Clean up after yourself to maintain a pleasant environment for all.
• Quiet Hours: Many people share accommodations at the station. Please show respect and consideration for others, especially at bedtime.
