View details

Rörsjöstugorna is a small mountain cabin site high up on the bare mountain plateau in Fulufjället National Park, in northwestern Dalarna. The cabins are simple and functional of varying sizes, with a total of 42 beds. They are heated by wood-burning stoves, electricity comes from solar panels, and water is fetched from streams or the lakes.

Each cabin includes a shared kitchen with gas stoves, cookware, seating area with table and chairs, lighting, and USB ports for charging. Guests have access to a sauna and a small shop with basic supplies. There is no internet connection, and you bring your own bed linen and towel.

You can also choose to stay in Harrsjöstugan, located 4 km from the main site, offering a more secluded and peaceful experience. Harrsjöstugan consists of one large room with four beds in two bunk beds and has the same equipment as the other cabins. When booking Harrsjöstugan, a rowing boat is included with life jackets, oars, ropes, and anchor.

From the nearest parking area at Naturum, it’s a 3 km hike to Rörsjöstugorna. The first kilometer is a steep climb, and the hike takes about 1.5 hours.

Fulufjället National Park is known for its rich primeval forest, Sweden’s highest waterfall Njupeskär, the world’s oldest tree Old Tjikko, and the fishing in the surrounding lakes. Discover all Fulufjället has to offer, then unwind in the sauna and cool off with a dip in the lake.
