STF Skepparpsgården Haväng

The hostel is set in a beautiful and genuine half-timbered farmhouse, dating back from the early 19th century. It is located in the centre of a nature reserve.
 
Accommodation
The rooms have 2-6 beds, with a washbasin in the room. Two toilets are available in a separate building. Further toilets and showers are also available in a further building that is connected to the bedroom block. Our larger rooms have bunk beds, while several of the rooms have a double bed. Dogs are welcome in four of the 12 rooms.

Skepparpsgården is located 3 km from the bus stop Ravlunda Kyrkan. Skånetrafiken bus 3, which runs regularly between Kristianstad and Simrishamn, stops here. You then have two beautiful walks to choose from. Either you take the paved Verkaåvägen via Skepparps vingård and Havängslamm or Sandvägen, where you pass the small outdoor museum Lindgrens Länga, from where you follow the yellow-marked Backaleden trail to the hostel. Both walks, which take 30-40 minutes, are full of beautiful nature experiences and scenic cultural environments. Don’t miss the opportunity, as a public transportation traveller, to buy breakfast at a greatly reduced price from door to door. NB! It is only possible to book by the room, i.e. it is not possible to book individual bed spaces. For most weekends, we only accept bookings for a minimum stay of two nights.
 
Self-catering in our fully equipped guest kitchen with place for 15 seated. The dining room and the Salen room can each take 25 people. When it’s sunny, we move into the luxuriant garden where the pleasant barbecue sites and ample seating are ideal for both outdoor breakfast and barbecues.
 
Check in between 5.00 and 7.00 pm. Please call us if you plan to arrive after 6.00 pm. Contact us if you want to check in or out at other times and we will do our best to arrange this.
 
To see and do
Haväng has always delighted artists and lies steeped in natural beauty with open moors filled with special flora and fauna. Several hiking trails begin in Haväng. Choose to follow the Verkeån river or a walk along the ocean shoreline. It’s always possible to find an undisturbed spot despite the beach’s popularity during summer. The Ravlunda region has a long and rich history: it is where the 5000-year-old grave Havängsdösen is located and where many historical findings have been discovered, including everyday articles and jewellery.
