A day at Söderfors Herrgård begins in the bright dining room overlooking the shimmering waters of the Dalälven River. The scent of freshly baked bread and freshly ground coffee fills the air, and the breakfast buffet features carefully selected local ingredients.

On most days of the week, lunch is also served, where seasonal ingredients take centre stage. The peaceful setting, with beautiful windows facing the river and the historic ironworks environment, adds an extra touch to the meal. 

As evening falls over the park, the restaurant opens for à la carte dining and evening menus inspired by Swedish cuisine. The dishes offer refined flavours and beautiful presentation, while the atmosphere remains relaxed and welcoming. The menu always includes several options, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes, with the possibility to accommodate allergies and dietary preferences. 

For weddings, celebrations and other special occasions, festivities often move to the Grillska building. Here, among candlelight and beautifully set tables, well-prepared dishes from the manor’s own kitchen and bar are served. Whether it is a weekend menu, barbecue evening, Christmas buffet or an evening with music and dining, the focus is always on flavour and care for the guest. The historic manor and lush park surroundings make every event truly special. 

In summer, there is something magical about dining outdoors – perhaps with the mirror-like waters of the Dalälven and the evening sun as your companions. Dogs are welcome in certain outdoor seating areas.
