Söderfors Herrgård welcomes private groups and companies looking to meet in a peaceful, nature-rich setting, with the Dalälven River and proud industrial heritage just outside the door.

Here, your group enjoys both seclusion and proximity – the manor is just over an hour from Uppsala and about 1.5 hours from Stockholm. Close, yet far from everyday routines. With meeting rooms of various sizes, dining rooms and lounges that can be adapted to your needs, this is a place where it is easy to create a memorable experience – whether for work, socializing or celebration. 

For overnight stays, there are 48 beautiful, newly renovated rooms with a total of 120 beds. Together with a nearby hotel, there are 53 rooms and 132 beds in total. The restaurant can accommodate approximately 200 dinner guests – ideal for both larger groups and atmospheric evenings. 

Conference

For conferences, courses, association trips and training camps, the manor offers a calm environment with space for focus and recovery. Work in bright meeting rooms, take a break in the English park or enjoy a short walk down to the river. Between sessions, you can relax in the sauna, enjoy light activities on the open grounds or join a guided tour of the ironworks area. 

In the kitchen, food is prepared with the seasons as a guide – from well-planned conference lunches to dinners highlighting local ingredients. Larger groups can combine several meeting and dining rooms to create a setup that suits their needs. Collaboration with local guides and activity providers offers many opportunities to enrich your stay with nature and cultural experiences. 

In winter, conferences can also be combined with cross-country skiing, a visit to the local ski slope or a quiet winter walk through the historic ironworks area. Start the evening with a sauna before dinner is served in the dining room. 

Weddings and parties

Söderfors Herrgård is a wonderful venue for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and other private celebrations. The historic setting by the Dalälven River creates a warm and personal atmosphere – from the salons and dining rooms to the lush park, which in summer invites outdoor dining. Here you can gather your entire group for dinners, activities by the river or relaxation in the sauna.  

In winter, stays can be combined with cross-country skiing, a nearby ski slope or peaceful winter walks through the ironworks area. For all types of groups, the manor offers assistance with planning meals, meetings and guided nature and/or cultural activities – helping you create a cohesive experience that feels both thoughtful and personal.
