Accommodation details
Staying at Sylarna Mountain Station offers a genuine mountain experience with flexible accommodation options for hikers, skiers, and dog owners. Choose between private rooms and shared dormitories in the main building or the historic annex Kläppen, and enjoy daily sauna access, self-catering facilities, and full mountain services. Whether you stay indoors or camp nearby, Sylarna is a welcoming base in the heart of the Swedish mountains.
In the main building you can stay comfortably in a two-bed room, four-bed room or eight-bed room. In Kläppen you can sleep in our dormitories. We recommend that you book your stay with us in advance. When there is bad weather, we arrange emergency beds if the facility is fully booked.

The main building
In the main building you can stay comfortably in our two-bed or four-bed rooms with a sink, shelves and storage space in the room. The rooms have one or two bunk beds as well as a sofa bed and can therefore be used as three-bed or five-bed rooms. The four-bed rooms are booked per bed and shared with other guests. If you stay with a group, we unfortunately can’t guarantee that the whole group will sleep in the same room together. There is also three eight-bed rooms where you can book a bed and share the room with other guests. Showers, sauna and toilets are in the corridor.
Kläppen
Kläppen is a snowball’s throw from the main building and has been standing here since 1933. This is home to our renovated dormitories, separate rooms where dogs are permitted, toilets and a completely refurbished self-catering kitchen. This is the oldest building at Sylarna and the cheapest accommodation. The accommodation is simple but each bed does of course have a mattress, pillow and duvet for you. Kläppen has two dormitories with eleven beds in each.

Sauna
Unwind and let your muscles rest in the sauna after a day out in the mountains. At Sylarna, there is one sauna for women and one for men. If you prefer a mixed sauna, we have dedicated hours for this in the men’s sauna.
The sauna is heated daily from 15:00 to 20:30. Towels are available for rent on site. Showers and changing rooms are located next to the sauna.

Dog friendly
At Sylarna, dogs are welcome both in the main building and in the annex Kläppen.
In the main building, you can book a private room with a bunk bed and a sofa bed. In this house, dogs are welcome via the dog entrance and in the room. Dog crates and bowls are available to borrow. Next to the entrance, there is a place where you can leave your dog while checking in. The reception and restaurant are pet-free.
In the annex Kläppen, you can also book a dog-friendly bed in a 4-bed room, meaning you’ll share the room with other guests. Here, dogs are allowed in the lounge area by the dog entrance. All rooms have a dog crate available if needed. There is a dog latrine outside the dog entrance at Kläppen, and we kindly ask you to pick up after your dog and dispose of it there. Dog waste bags are available for purchase in our shop.
Please speak with the reception upon arrival or leave a note in your booking to reserve a dog-friendly room or bed.
