Sleep well at Sylarna
Staying at Sylarna Mountain Station is a unique experience with many options. In the main building you can stay comfortably in a two-bed room, four-bed room or eight-bed room. In Kläppen you can sleep in our big dormitories with room for 16 people or more. We recommend that you book your stay with us in advance. When there is bad weather, we arrange emergency beds if the facility is fully booked.
The main building
In the main building you can stay comfortably in our two-bed or four-bed rooms with a sink, shelves and storage space in the room. The rooms have one or two bunk beds as well as a sofa bed and can therefore be used as three-bed or five-bed rooms. The four-bed rooms are booked per bed and shared with other guests, but if there are four or five of you, you will of course get your own room. There is also an eight-bed room where you can book a bed and share the room with other guests. Showers, sauna and toilets are in the corridor.
Kläppen is a snowball’s throw from the main building and has been standing here since 1933. This is home to our dormitories, separate rooms where dogs are permitted, showers, toilets and a completely refurbished self-catering kitchen. This is the oldest building at Sylarna and the cheapest accommodation. Kläppen has several dormitories with at least 16 beds in each room. The accommodation is simple but each bed does of course have a mattress, pillow and duvet for you.
Rooms where dogs are permitted
In Kläppen there are three four-bed rooms for guests with dogs. The standard is somewhat simpler than in the main building. There are dog cages in each room. Because we only have a few rooms where dogs are permitted, it is not possible to book a dog room for single use. Only two people per party can book beds in the dog room and the rest of the party then have to stay in other parts of the station. The rooms is therefore shared between different parties and their dogs. We cannot be responsible should the dogs not get along.
At Sylarna there is plenty of space for those who want to pitch a tent. Tent may be placed no closer then 100 m from any building and you don’t need to pre-book your tent site. For a smaller fee, 200 SEK for members and 300 SEK for non-members you can use all the facilities at the station. Children aged 6-15 pay half price (0-5 are free). The service fee gives you access to showers, sauna (unfortunately closed due too our corona adaptations), drying room, WiFi, phone charging, the self-catering kitchen and the station. Breakfast, lunch package or our pre-made lunch boxes can be purchased on site and do not have to be pre-booked.
If you want to eat dinner you preferably pre-book this to ensure availability. This can be done earliest 7 days before your stay by e-mail to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please state name, date, number of guests and any special diet.
