Uninterrupted meetings in a land beyond roads

STF Jämtlandsfjällen consists of the mountain stations Blåhammaren, Storulvån, Helags och Sylarna as well as a number of mountain cabins. Some stations are easily accessible and can be reached by car, while others are reached by pleasant hikes, ski tours, snowcat or snowmobile. This is where a great mix of ski alpinists, bon vivants and mountain lovers meet all year round.

Enjoy the silence, the vast expanses with the mountains and their constantly shifting nature around the corner, meals with locally produced food, clean air and drinkable water straight from the mountain stream, comfort and sense of community in fantastic environments. If you would like greater challenges, we can offer a vast range of different activities and experiences, with or without a guide. Perhaps you are at your most happy skiing up Getryggen? On a mountain bike by Sylarna or climbing up a cliff?

There is something for everyone here. Everything from small groups who want to meet without interruption and enjoy the environment, to large events with camping in tents and party events. Meetings here, far away from everyday life, provide the space for creative thinking and new topics of conversation. We offer experiences that are out of the ordinary! We use your desires and our knowledge to put together customised programmes. The difference between a mountain station and a mountain cabin?

For those who have not visited a mountain station or a mountain cabin it is difficult to know what to expect. In all different types of accommodation we offer, both stations and cabins, you sleep in real beds with pillows, duvets and sheets. The rooms can vary between double rooms with a shower/toilet to four-bed rooms and dormitories.

The technical standard is higher at a mountain station. They have running hot and cold water and electricity. A sauna with a magnificent view of the mountains provides space for relaxation and reflection. Our meals are prepared from wonderful local delicacies from all over Jämtland. Working with local produce is close to our hearts. All our mountain stations have great fully licensed restaurants.

In a mountain cabin you collect water straight from the mountain stream. We offer the ultimate way to get really close to nature in a safe manner. We teach ourselves and you how to stay and live comfortably and relaxed despite – or rather thanks to – fairly simple conditions.
