Accommodation details
Many types of flexible accommodation
Undersvik consists of five buildings and has 140 beds. You can choose between double rooms with shower and toilet, multi-bed rooms or the option of “renting the entire house”, i.e. renting part of the yard with a private sauna just for you and your family, friends or colleagues. In the main building there are social areas and many conference rooms. There is also a restaurant that offers local food experiences.
Some rooms are booked as entire rooms, which means that you always have the room to yourself and your friends or family, if applicable. Are you traveling with your pet? We are totally fine with that, but please make sure to book the Pets option. All our rooms include a linen set with a towel.
Regardless of how you choose to stay, you can choose to book either full board or individual meals. You are also welcome to make use of our guest kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. This gives you access to complete kitchen equipment, double stoves, refrigerators (not freezers) and counter surfaces.
The main building – Undersviksgården
The fine manor-like building was completed in the middle of the 19th century. It spent its first hundred years as a trading post, public inn and diocesan farm. This is the location of the hotel restaurant where you can enjoy local food. There is also the chapel with a sacristy, many areas for socializing and conference rooms. There are two accessible toilets, a ground floor ramp for easy access and easy lift access up to the entrance floor and second floor.
Murraygården
Carl Adolf Murray and his family managed the farm for 17 years. Murray has always been an important profile for the business. Not only because he kept everything in order, from emptying the bins to shoveling snow, but mainly for his charm and charisma which made many visitors enjoy their stay even more. The house where the family lived is still here, and it is of course named Murraygården.
Here you can choose to rent the entire house or just a bed or a room. There are a total of 21 beds spread over seven rooms. The lower floor has two rooms (a double room and a triple room), shower and toilet and a sauna. The entrance floor has a nice, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (a twin room with a bunk bed and a room with two separate single beds). There is also a cozy living room and a conference room that can be used as a dining room. On the upper level there are three multi-bed rooms. A six-bed room, a four-bed room and a three-bed room. This is a charming, older building that is not accessible.
Hälsingegården
Hälsingegården is a charming building with a total of 29 beds spread over three dormitories on the ground floor with private bathrooms, and two dormitories on the upper floor, each with its own bathroom. Like Murraygården, it is not accessibility friendly.
Upplandsgården
This is a two-story building with a total of 14 rooms and 34 beds. On the entrance floor there is a fully equipped self-catering room with two stoves, fridge and microwave ovens. The building offers four- and two-bed rooms. The twin rooms have bunk beds, and some of the four-bed rooms on the ground floor have a bunk and a double bed (160cm). There is also a large activity room and sauna with a changing room. Upplandsgården has two rooms on older entrance floor that measures 2.03 x 1.68 m. The building has a lift that takes you comfortably between floors.
Gästrikegården
This is a fully renovated building with 11 rooms and 42 beds in total. Eight four-bed rooms with a double bed and a bunk bed, two double rooms with a single bunk bed, a four-bed room with a family bunk bed and a bunk bed and one room with a bunk bed. One of the four-bed rooms is accessible. Some of the rooms have access to the balcony with a view of beautiful Ljusnan.
