The kitchen at Undersvik focuses on using as many Swedish and local ingredients as possible, preferably organic. We serve only Swedish meat and sustainably sourced fish and seafood. Our philosophy is to use slightly less but higher-quality meat and fish while incorporating more and better-grown vegetables. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor terrace and in certain areas of the dining room.

Breakfast

Start your day with our breakfast buffet, where you’ll find everything from freshly baked bread and delicious toppings to yogurt, fruit, vegetables, eggs, and a variety of beverages. Whenever possible, we use local and organic ingredients – for both great taste and sustainability. Of course, we offer options for guests with allergies or special dietary requirements.

Breakfast is served in our beautiful dining room, with lovely views of the surrounding landscape and the River Ljusnan. Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast before a day of adventure or wish to linger and enjoy a relaxed morning, you are most welcome!

Lunch

For lunch we serve a home made buffet that includes two main courses, one of which is vegetarian, along with a ambitious salad bar, bread, coffee, and sparkling water.

The buffet is served Monday to Friday, from 11:30-14:00 and Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00-14:00.

Dinner

On Fridays and Saturdays, we serve the evening’s dinner – a well-prepared meal that varies from day to day, inspired by seasonal ingredients. The menu is presented on site, and we always offer alternatives for guests with allergies or special dietary requirements. Welcome to end your day with a delicious dinner in our cozy dining room!

During school holidays and public holidays, dinner is served every day of the week.

Beverages

Our carefully selected beverage menu features only Swedish beer and products from local breweries and distilleries, while our wines are imported and chosen with great care.

Larger groups

Are you a larger group looking for a private dining experience? We recommend booking the Karsjö room, ideal for private gatherings such as birthday celebrations, family dinners, and larger events. The room accommodates between 12 and 24 guests.

Make your own lunch with our pasta pack

Enjoy our popular and flavourful pasta pack, which you can prepare yourself in the self-catering kitchen or over an open fire during your hike. The pack includes 150 g Gotland pasta, one jar of homemade tomato sauce from our kitchen, and 200 g grilling cheese from the local dairy Dellenmejeriet.
