STF Abiskojaure Mountain cabin

There are two guest cabins, a host cabin with a shop (shop selection Large), a tent service building and a safety room.

Abiskojaure is our first and only accessible mountain cabin. Six of the beds are adapted for wheelchair users. One of the kitchens and one of the outdoor toilets have been rebuilt, and the sauna has been adapted to welcome guests who use wheelchairs.

There is no mobile phone coverage at the mountain cabin, but the host has a phone. Guests who need to make a call can buy call time.

More about the buildings

The large cabin
The cabin has two large kitchen sections and four bedrooms with a total of 41 beds. Both kitchen sections have separate entrances from the outside. A drying room is located next to one of the kitchen sections.

The forest cabin
Tucked away in the forest a little behind the other buildings is the second guest cabin, which has two rooms with six beds each. Dogs are welcome in this cabin.

Tent service/Safety room
This cabin has an entrance to a large kitchen for campers and day visitors. The room is mainly used in summer. There is also an entrance to the safety room, which is open all year round. The safety room has an emergency phone, two beds/bunks, a stove and basic kitchen equipment. Dogs are also allowed in this room.
