STF Arholma Nord

The island of Arholma is located in Roslagen, in the northern Stockholm archipelago. While it may look remote on the map, it’s easily reached by archipelago boats from Stockholm, Norrtälje or Simpnäs. Once ashore, you’ll find winding gravel roads among pine trees, blooming meadows, sun-warmed cliffs and the ever-present sea. 

At Arholma Nord, you stay close to nature in cozy rooms with views of the bay or the forest. Simplicity and comfort go hand in hand, and your stay always includes made beds and a breakfast buffet. 

Rooms are located in several smaller buildings and range from single to family rooms for up to five people. All rooms offer views of either forest or water, with shared toilets and showers in the corridor. At Sjöstugan and Stormladan, dogs are welcome for a small fee. 

If you’d like to explore Arholma by foot, the Stockholm Archipelago Trail offers a beautiful section around the island, just under 13 kilometres long. The trail leads you through forest and cultural landscapes, past cliffs and open views, and eventually back to the accommodation. After a day outdoors, you can enjoy a hot sauna with a view of the sea, a swim from the rocks or a sunny moment on the jetty, followed by a well-prepared dinner at the restaurant. 

The restaurant at Arholma Nord is a natural gathering place for boaters, guests and locals. The atmosphere is relaxed and personal – a place where you’ll want to linger, especially on summer evenings with live music and stunning views of the horizon. For guests who prefer self-catering, a fully equipped guest kitchen is available in the building Tjärven. 
 
Luggage transport is offered from the island’s jetty at set times, making arrival smooth even for those travelling light.
