Accommodation details

The accommodation’s home page: STF Blåhammaren

The main building at STF Blåhammaren was built in 1924 and is set in a historic environment with a peaceful atmosphere.

People have travelled through these mountains for hundreds of years. The area’s history includes the Carolean Death March, the Sámi people, robbers and the first climbers to summit the Sylarna peaks. Reindeer herding is still practised here today.

Facilities

Blåhammaren offers 30 beds in multi-bed rooms located in the annex building. There is a self-catering kitchen, toilets, drying room and comfortable social areas. Outside the annex you will find our four outdoor toilets.

Our newly renovated self-catering kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher.

Bed linen and cleaning

Blåhammaren does not provide bed linen. Please bring your own travel sheet or equivalent to help reduce environmental impact and transport. Bring your own towel and swimwear for the mixed sauna.

You clean your room yourself before departure.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in our pet-friendly rooms. These beds must be booked specifically on the website. Dog cages and dog bowls are available next to the rooms. We recommend bringing biodegradable dog waste bags that can be disposed of in the outdoor toilet.
