View details

Gnosjö Hostel is located in the Töllstorp recreational area, on the shores of Lake Töllstorpasjön and surrounded by forest. Stay in bright, comfortable rooms with bunk beds. Showers and toilets are conveniently located nearby, and there is a fully equipped guest kitchen. Each room has a small private outdoor seating area. The hostel is accessible for guests with disabilities.

Please note that the reception, located in Töllstorpshallen, has limited opening hours that vary throughout the year. You will therefore receive an email directly from Gnosjö Hostel with information on how to check in when the reception is unattended. The email will also include the code for a key locker. If you have not received the email, please contact the hostel well in advance by phone or email.

The surrounding area offers excellent facilities, including an artificial turf football pitch, an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, and a fully equipped gym. Forest jogging trails begin right outside the hostel, and you’ll also find recreational facilities such as table tennis and a volleyball court.

Several scenic hiking trails start close to the hostel, leading towards Store Mosse National Park and the Isaberg Nature Reserve. The surrounding area offers plenty of experiences, including a day trip to Isaberg, where you can enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the year, from skiing in winter to high ropes courses and outdoor adventures in summer.

Gnosjö is famous throughout Sweden for the entrepreneurial spirit known as the “Gnosjö Spirit”. You can learn more about the area’s industrial heritage at the Hyltens and Töllstorp Industrial Museums. The nearby town of Värnamo is well worth a visit, with attractions including the Bruno Mathsson Center and Vandalorum – a renowned museum of art and design. Families with children should not miss a day at the classic Wild West theme park High Chaparral.
