In Malmö, the old mixes with the modern, and the pace is a bit more relaxed than in other cities. You also have all of Scania conveniently nearby, by train, bus or car. Take a day trip to Ystad and Österlen or Helsingborg and the Kulla Peninsula: Hike on the Skåneleden, bicycle on the Kattegattleden or take a day trip to a national park.
