Welcome to a newly built and fresh sports, recreation and conference facility located only 1.5 km from the center of Torsby, in the middle of Valberget’s outdoor area and within walking distance to Torsby Ski Tunnel, Sweden’s only ski tunnel.

Welcome to a newly built and fresh sports, recreation and conference facility located only 1.5 km from the center of Torsby, in the middle of Valberget’s outdoor area and within walking distance to Torsby Ski Tunnel, Sweden’s only ski tunnel.

The hotel has a total of 32 rooms, including 20 single and 12 double rooms with handicap access, divided into 3 houses. Unlike the hostel, Valbergsängen’s hotel has private bathrooms with toilets in every room, and breakfast is complementary. The hotel section has no self-catering kitchen.

At the hostel you can stay comfortably in double rooms with bunk beds or single beds. A guaranteed place in a single room is available for a single room supplement of SEK 60 per person per night.

The rooms in the hostel part are equipped with a TV and Wi-Fi internet access.

Self-catering kitchens are available in the hostel’s houses, and they are equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and electric kettle. Some kitchens also have TVs.

All houses have access to washing machine and clothes drying facilities and all the larger houses have common TV and lounge rooms.

Saunas are available for men and women and, with shower and dressing room facilities. Use of the sauna is complementary and available to all guests. All guests also have access to Torsby Atletklubb’s gym, which is in the hotel basement.

Travel information
Torsby is located in northern Värmland. You can find information about buses at www.varmlandstrafik.se.

Valbergsängen is a 15-minute walk from the center of Torsby. Follow Järnvägsgatan north, keep left when you see the signs for the hostel. Follow Valbergsvägen and when you pass over the E45 you will see the Valbergsängen on your right.
