STF Bo Pensionat Vickleby

Bo Bed and Breakfast with the old bailiff’s house and village shop are located at the edge of a geological formation known as “landborgen”, in Vickleby. Here in the village you can find one of the most beautiful village streets in Sweden.

The bed and breakfast has been in operation since it was started by Maja Uddenberg in 1914. Back in Maja’s days, artists were the most frequent guests. Today, it is those interested in the countryside and cultural heritage who come and make their presence felt in the bed and breakfast, which is open from early in the spring until Christmas.

The accommodation consists of 22 rooms, all different and with their own special character, and all with en suite facilities. There is no extra charge for a single room. The restaurant serves seasonal, locally produced food characteristic of Öländ. A local dish, Öland lamb, is always on the menu, together with turbot from Gräsgård and local game. To put it simply: locally produced and excellent!
 
The building is also ideal for meetings, weddings, and other activities in wonderful surroundings. The dining room can seat up to 100, and if more space is required the garden can be used with its comfortable, leafy spaces. We also offer the possibility of hiring the entire building – perfect for companies, family reunions, or meetings of clubs and societies.
 
We are passionate about the natural world and will be happy to share our personal favourites on the island. We are happy to help, and we offer a number of selected packages giving experiences in the countryside. These are a means to experience something out of the ordinary, at a reasonable price.
