STF Dahlbogården

Dahlbogården is a family farm in Västergötland, between Alingsås and Vårgårda, with a long history of horse breeding and forestry. Today, it has been transformed into a small, personal hotel with a restaurant. Surrounded by traditional red farm buildings, grand oak trees, and unspoiled nature, it is a peaceful oasis in the heart of a living countryside. A deep commitment to the region and sustainability is at the core of everything here, making it a truly special place – a place to unwind and a place to connect.

The hotel’s three comfortable guest rooms are housed in the farm’s former granary, designed with inspiration from the surrounding meadows and fields. Each room has a private veranda overlooking the forest and a small lake. During the warmer months, two beautifully designed wooden shelters on the other side of the lake offer a unique nature experience.

The farm’s cozy restaurant serves locally sourced, seasonal delicacies, from seafood and fish to high-quality meat and vegetables. The property also features spaces available for rent – perfect for nature-inspired meetings, gatherings, or a rustic and romantic wedding.

With its location near Gothenburg and charming small towns, Dahlbogården is a perfect base for exploring both nature and culture. The scenic Gotaleden trail runs directly past Dahlbogården, making it an ideal stop for hikers or a great starting point for shorter walks along the trail. The historically significant Holleden trail is also nearby.

Dahlbogården is open year-round.
