Villa Gransholm is more than just a place to visit; it touches both heart and soul. This historic manor house, with its beautiful architecture and carefully preserved details, tells stories from bygone days in the Gransholm mill community. Today, Villa Gransholm is a small, family-run hotel where tiled stoves, open fireplaces, and candlelight create a cozy and welcoming warmth.

Here, you’ll find inviting social spaces with comfortable furniture perfect for conversations and relaxation, elegant dining rooms, eleven uniquely decorated double rooms, a charming single room, and two spacious family rooms – all in period style with modern comforts and private bathrooms. Outside, a lush park with vibrant flowerbeds, towering trees, and a bubbling pond offers a tranquil oasis for the soul. Beautiful and serene, yet familiar and personal.

In the restaurant, freshly caught fish and meat from animals grazing in the Småland pastures are served. Carefully selected ingredients come together to create dishes that honor both flavor and tradition – a modern Småland cuisine that celebrates the changing seasons.

With its proximity to year-round natural and cultural experiences, Villa Gransholm is the perfect base for day trips. The surrounding nature offers scenic hiking trails and cycling paths, while nearby you’ll find unique destinations like Åsnen National Park, Huseby Mill, the Furniture District, the city of Växjö, and much more.

    Travel options
    Villa Gransholm is in the small village of Gransholm, about four kilometers south of the town of Gemla and approximately 15 kilometers from the city of Växjö.

    If you want to travel here sustainably, you can take the train to Växjö or Alvesta and then continue by bus or train to Gemla, which is four kilometers from Villa Gransholm. There are bus connections for the last stretch between Gemla station and Gransholm, though they are limited. Please contact Villa Gransholm if you need assistance with transportation for the final part of the journey.

    For guests arriving by electric car, there are charging stations available (for a fee) and free parking on-site.
