The hostel is located two kilometers from the mighty Högakusten bridge. Here you are close to the World Heritage listed Höga Kusten’s complete range of nature and cultural experiences.

The hostel is a former doctor’s residence that has recently been renovated. The rooms are light and airy. We offer twin rooms and dormitories with toilet and shower in close proximity. Tiled bathroom with underfloor heating. Only three rooms per section. A toilet for each room. TV in all four-bed rooms. Double beds in all twin and multi-bed rooms. Fully equipped kitchen and living room with a TV. Dogs are allowed in some of the rooms.

In summer, you can order steaming fresh bread rolls or a breakfast bag from the reception every morning.
A fully licensed restaurant is open between June 16 and Aug 15

Here you will find everything you need for a truly relaxing holiday. Rent a motorboat, canoe, pedal boat or mountain bike, play mini golf or follow one of the hiking trails to the great views of both bridges – Högakusten bridge and Sandö bridge. Sunny days attract Snibben’s own child-friendly sandy beach. Free Wi-Fi throughout the premises.

The nearby Rotsidan nature reserve has an atmospheric pebble beach. The beautiful rock slabs are perfect for sunbathing in summer, side by side with weathered rocks that are a testament to the power of our autumn storms. For day trips we can recommend a visit to the fishing village of Bönhamn, and perhaps on from there to the island of Högbonden with its lighthouse. A slightly longer boat trip takes you to Ulvön, the home of the fermented Baltic herring.

A trip on land can take you to Skuleberget where you can climb up to the robber cave or take the cable car to the top and enjoy magnificent views. Then there is Skuleskogen National Park with its cobblestone fields, the red rapakivi granite and the magnificent Slåttdalsskrevan. You can also head up along Ådalen to the lumber floating and forest industry monuments, or to the open-air museum Mannaminne in Nordingrå, which offers concerts and cultural activities.
