STF Alunbruket Bed and Breakfast Österlen

Alunbruket Bed and Breakfast is part of Kaffestugan Alunbruket, Skåne’s oldest coffee house. Here, hikers and other guests with a craving for coffee and cake have enjoyed homemade pastries and coffee since 1930. Today the business is run by the fourth generation, while the history of Alunbruksbyn stretches even further back, all the way to the 18th century. 
 
Each room in the charming half-timbered houses has its own character. Look forward to a good night’s sleep in comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning. There are also lovely shared spaces, such as Verkalängan’s large and beautiful living room with dining table, sofas and a fireplace, as well as plenty of board games. A shared kitchen is also available for guests. 
 
Outside the houses you will find the flourishing garden with a barbecue area. During the day the coffee house is open and filled with life and conversation, while calm settles over the place in the evening and you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the closeness to nature. 
 
The area around Alunbruket is a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. Skåneleden and Signaturled Österlen pass right by and offer some of Sweden’s most beautiful hiking stretches through forests, open landscapes and along the Verkeån.
