Can I pitch my tent along a trail?

You can put up your tent wherever you want along the trails, except in Abisko National Park. In the National Park there are 3 designated suitable tent sites; at STF Abisko Turiststation; near the bridge over Nissunjokk and near the cabins in Abiskojaure. If you want to pitch your tent close to the mountain cabin and make use of its services, you must pay a fee, giving you access to an outdoor shower and a self-catering kitchen, and the sauna if there is one available!
