Kebnekaise – Guided tour south summit

Climbing Kebnekaise is something that many dream of doing. Join our guides on the eastern route, an adventure that we hope takes you to a new place and towards our common goal, the Southern Peak and Sweden’s highest view.

The eastern route to the Southern Summit of Kebnekaise is long and physically demanding day trip. The journey includes steep ascents, glacier trekking, and an easy, but exposed climbing. The summit attempt takes about 10 hours to complete, depending on the mountain and weather conditions.

The climbing on the eastern route can be best described as easy technically but very exposed. If you have any fear of heights, you may find the climbing part uncomfortable. If you are extremely afraid of heights, we do not recommend you participate on this tour.

• Min 2 / max 30
• Age limit: 16 years (accompanied by a guardian)
• We do not require any previous climbing or mountain experience, but we do not recommend individuals with a fear of heights or knee problems to participate. Good physical condition is necessary to take part.
• IMPORTANT! Mandatory briefing the day before your summit attempt (the evening before the date in your booking confirmation/the evening before the selected date on the website).You must have completed the mandatory briefing to be able to participate in the tour. Day 1, Summit attempt (the date in your booking confirmation/selected booking date on the website): Exact starting time will be communicated during the safety briefing the evening before.
• If you plan to book dinner the day before your guided summit attempt to the Southern Peak along the eastern route, we recommend booking dinner at 5:30 PM or 9:00 PM. This is due to the mandatory summit briefing at 8:00 PM.
