Gällivare
Overnight trains from Stockholm run daily, and from winter 2025, SJ will operate the Stockholm–Gällivare route. Disembark in Gällivare. Make sure your arrival matches the bus to Kebnats, which runs 1–2 times per day depending on the season.
If you are travelling by train, it is strongly recommended to book your bus journey from Gällivare through the train company as well. The final stop is Kebnats/Saltoluokta, and if you book all the way there, the train company will be responsible for missed connections between train and bus.
The bus route Gällivare–Kebnats is operated by Falcks Omnibus. For current timetables and traffic information, visit falcksomnibus.se (opnes in new tab) or call +46 970 240 00. During high season, we recommend reserving a seat in advance.
During the summer season, it is also possible to travel on the Inlandsbanan railway to Gällivare. See inlandsbanan.se (opens in new tab).
BY CAR
If arriving by car, take the E45 and turn off onto “Vägen Västerut” about 6 km north of Porjus. After 78 km you will reach Kebnats/Saltoluokta, where you can park your car.
ONCE IN KEBNATS
In winter, you can follow the marked ice trail on skis or take our snowmobile transport. In summer, you can cross by our boat, M/S Langas.
