Accessible accommodation
We want everyone to feel welcome and included at STF’s accommodations. On this page, you’ll find information about the criteria met by the accommodations that state they are accessibility-adapted.
Policy for guide dogs and assistance dogs
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are, of course, welcome at all our accommodations. Please remember to inform us when booking so that we can find a suitable room for you and your dog. There is no extra charge for bringing a guide dog.
Criteria for accessibility-adapted accommodations
We have chosen to prioritise accessibility related to mobility, hearing, and vision – including guide dogs and assistance dogs. Our criteria for accessibility-adapted accommodations include everything from good accessibility and wide doorways to vibrating fire alarms and contrast markings. These are a range of measures that make a stay easier for guests with disabilities.
When an accommodation states that it is accessibility-adapted, you can be sure that it meets all the criteria listed. The only exception is STF Åre Södergården Hostel, which fulfils all criteria except for the acceptance of guide dogs. This is because it is the only accommodation in the Nordic region specifically adapted for guests with asthma and allergies.
