Camp site for tents
On the premises of STF Abisko Turiststation is one out of three allowed tent sites in Abisko National Park situated. At the tent site there is a service building with showers, toilets and a washing up room (no kitchen). The service building is closed during winter and tent guests are referred to showers and toilets in Youth hostel Keron, approx.. 400 meters from the tent site. At the tent site there is a fire place, arranged by The county administrative board, and a shed with fire wood. The service fee per person and night is paid in the reception in the main building and your tent site can not be pre-booked. The fee is 200 SEK/day as a member (300 SEK as a non-member). Children aged 6-15 pay half price (0-5 are free). Checked in guests receive a tag which is to be attached to the tent during the stay. If you want to eat dinner you preferably pre-book this to ensure availability. This can be done earliest 7 days before your stay by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please state name, date, number of guests and any special diet.
Between 27th of September and 17th of November Abisko is open with limited services. The reception and store is open a few hours per day, and you can reserve a room at the hostel or one of our cabins.
