Food & drink
Come and eat and feel good with us! Abisko is, and has always been, a meeting place for guests from all over the world. The restaurant has a great location in the middle of a national park at the start/end of Kungsleden. From Restaurant Kungsleden you also get a magnificent view of Torneträsk on one side and the Abisko Alps on the other.
We put a lot of love and effort into the ingredients we choose for our KRAV-certified restaurant. The focus is on organic and locally produced food and we always offer vegetarian alternatives.
At our breakfast buffet you can find energy to fuel a day in the mountains. Here you will find freshly brewed coffee, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, waffles, bacon, boiled eggs, yogurt and more. We do not doubt that you will have a good start of the day with us. During the summer, you can also sit down on our porch to have breakfast.
If you are planning a longer trip or just want a take-away lunch on the way home, we recommend a lunch package. You get to choose for yourself what you want with you on the tour from our breakfast buffet. Do not forget to bring a thermos for the hot water!
Our lunch buffet always contains classic Swedish dishes. The lunch includes a salad buffet, bread, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. We have full rights if you want alcoholic beverages for your lunch.
If you are looking for Swedish fika, you can buy it in the Fjällboden shop.
Our dinner is inspired by Nordic cuisine and Swedish traditional flavours. Bread, salad and coffee or tea is included. Vegetarian options are available. With a drink menu containing exciting beers and KRAV-labelled wines, we hope you will find your favourite. If you cannot decide, we have a recommended beverage package for every dinner. We also have excellent non-alcoholic options.
To make a reservation in our restaurant, call Restaurant Kungsleden directly on +46 (0)10 190 2403. Please let us know in advance if you have a special diet or allergies.
