STF Arthotel Tornedalen

Arthotel Tornedalen takes its name from my passion for art, which is found everywhere in every house from the rooms to the dining room, library, lounge, entrance and of course also outdoors. Naturally, my professional background as art gallery manager has put its stamp on it all. All the houses are characterized by art, form and good craftsmanship. I call it the harmony of beauty, found not only in art but also in the nature that surrounds the houses. Stay peacefully in your own house, in harmony with the river and forest, and greet the changing days and seasons as they come. Everything you need is right there, you won’t need to go anywhere else. Go hiking in the forest, light a fire, listen to the trees and the river, or take the rowing boat for an adventure. In winter you can ski in the woods or on the ice on the Torne river. Take a sauna every day if you want. In the forest we have built a lookout tower where you can spend the night all year round. We are three people who do everything to make you feel at home Simmi is a housewife and cook, Kalle takes care of everything outdoors, from tree felling to wood chopping, and – best of all – Kalle is a trained nature guide.

At Arthotel, all you see and touch has its own story to tell. New mixed with old. Art and forms built on knowledge, experience, beauty, love and thoughtful function never expire. Everything at Arthotel is hand-picked to give you a genuine total experience of form and art in a natural home environment. Even the “Ah…” logo is a work of art, created by artist Fredrik Wretman.

Best of all is my vision of Konsthall Tornedalen, which is really worth a chapter of its own.
