Abisko – STF Aurora Sky Station Northern Light Dinner

Enjoy a dining experience in an unbeatable setting, where northern Swedish flavors are accompanied by the magic of the aurora in the sky.

Abisko offers some of the world’s best conditions for seeing the northern lights and a nature experience beyond the ordinary. The evening begins with a two-kilometer chairlift ride to the STF Aurora Sky Station, 900 m above sea level, where a four-course dinner with Nordic and Lapland flavors awaits. Enjoy stunning views of Abisko, Lake Torneträsk, and the mountains – and maybe the aurora. Guides share stories about the lights, Sami culture, and the region.

In case of severe weather, dinner is instead served in a cozy, fire-lit Lavvu (wooden hut) in the national park, followed by a short walk to the best viewing spot of the northern lights. Later, warm drinks and northern treats are served by the fire. Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options are available for purchase.

MEETING POINT:
STF Abisko Turiststation at 5.30 p.m. for a walk with your guide to the chairlift.
You can also come directly to the chairlift; be there at the latest 6.00 p.m.

When booking any of our products at STF Aurora Sky Station, we cannot guarantee that you will see the northern lights, as it is a natural phenomenon. Bookings for any of STF’s products at Aurora Sky Station are binding once the cancellation policy comes into effect, and no refunds will be given if the chairlift cannot operate and the event is held in the Lavvu instead.
